Embark on a private, exclusive journey through the enchanting Dão Region, nestled between the majestic Caramulo and Montemuro mountains and bordered by the Dão and Paiva rivers.

With over a century as a demarcated wine region, Dão offers a perfect blend of history, culture, gastronomy—and above all, discovery.

Departing from Porto, we’ll travel along peaceful off-road trails to connect with local communities and uncover the rich legacy of this storied region, known for its legendary figures and pivotal role in Portuguese history.

Our first stop brings us to a local vineyard that honors its traditions while embracing organic winemaking. Here, you’ll enjoy a curated wine tasting surrounded by vines and heritage.

We’ll then continue through vineyard landscapes lined with ancient granite walls, always in the company of the nearby Dão river.

Lunch will be a highlight—a hearty, authentic meal at a regional restaurant where local flavors are thoughtfully paired with the finest Dão wines.

In the afternoon, we’ll make our way to the charming city of Viseu, a historic gem with over 2,500 years of legacy. Its elegant old town is both the cultural heart and the symbolic gateway to Dão wine country. We’ll conclude the day with a final tasting of these refined and noble wines.
